ITU LAN

Event Planning & Execution - Webdesign - Webdevelopment

ITU LAN is a biannual gaming event, where the IT University (ITU) hosts hundreds of students for a weekend filled with gaming, tournaments and other fun activities.

I designed and developed a website for the event. The website was used as an "information-hub" which would contain all the important info that attendees of the ITU LAN necessarily would need (tournament info, a schedule, contact information etc.).

The site was developed using HTML and CSS, and managed using KiteCMS.

Through volunteering, I took parts in both planning and executing the event on numerous occasions. This included securing and planning funding (both through ticket sales and sponsorships), the planning and maintenance of social media prior to and during the event, photographing during the event, as well as managing schedules for e.g. tournaments throughout the weekend.

ITU LAN is managed by a volunteering group of students, and sponsored mainly by corporations separate from ITU.
